Hi all,

Just to say a BIG thanks to everyone who turned up and played last night.

Looking back it does seem that organising it on a night when the Premier League Darts was on in Brighton, plus the fact there was football on the box (for an change) was always going to keep the numbers down.

We have said that we will do another one, maybe in the summer, organise it better, have a raffle as well to help, maybe also do a speed darts competition, but getting the date right will be a major factor.

Thanks to those who did bring raffle prizes, sorry that they weren't used, but if you would like to keep them till the next time?

In the end we had 36 players and the competition equated to 12 teams of 3 playing 501 best of 3.

Congratulations to Wayne Ryan, Fern Sweetman and Anthony Green for winning the competition.

We hope to organise a little momento of your achievement at presentation night.

Once again, thanks to all that turned up, for what we had, i thought it was a very enjoyable night.

Thanks to the Sports Club as usual, and for the Hot Dogs.

Thanks to Kate Winslett for winning the Oscars, god i know how she feels about making speeches!

Keep enjoying your darts.

All the best

Paul
