Very surprised to see the singles final as being at the Albion? I was led to believe that the Tuesday committee didnt like to give a venue to a team in which its own players were competing in, if possible? Yet despite Martin Brown, Paul Burnett and Andy Mac playing for the Albion, the final is at the Albion???
Before anyone gets the wrong end of the stick, nothing wrong with it being there, its a good throw, proper darts venue, and most importanty i like playing there!!!!!!!!!!! But just surprised all the same.

dear john,
why should you be surprised at the final being played at the Albion?
reasons why it SHOULD be played at the Albion.
1.a very good throw.
2.a super league standard throw.
3.a nice pub.
4.good food.
5.friendly and help full landlord/landlady.
6.good Price beer.
7.the mile oak have hosted the final on more than one occasion
with 1 or 2 of there players playing in it!!!
reasons why it SHOULD NOT be played at the Albion.

had you been at the meeting!,maybe you could have put your
honest opinion and points of views over..
never mind!!!!!!!!

Paul your obviously having trouble reading at the moment so i'll highlight the sentence in my 1st post again just for you.....

I've got no problem with the Albion as a host for any finals, just surpised its there when 3 of thier players are participating, especially as i was led to believe previously the committee choose not to pick venues where home players were competing.
And its nice to see Mr Robinson still on here posting and reading despite all these unsporting, horrible people within the game forcing him to retire!!!!!!! Good luck with finding your trophys!!!!!

morning,
my reading is fine!,and my understanding of your words is fine too!
if you are OK with playing the final at the ALBION why are you questioning
the league committee's decision to play the final at the ALBION.
i can't see what you are trying to achieve by voicing your so called
honest opinion on this subject!
in the past on more than one occasion you have put me down for voicing
my honest opinion,
you do have a valid point to a degree but if you said you where un-happy
with playing the final at the ALBION because of the amount of ALBION
players in the final,and left it at that,you may not of contradicted yourself!!
all i have done is highlight the reasons why it should be played there
and could not find any why it should not...
as you have said to me before!,if you had gone to the meeting you would
have been able to give your HONEST OPINION on the matter!!
ps,already found my trophies!,will be giving one out this year
to the person with the most HONEST OPINIONS!!!!
looks like you may win something after all......
